We are limited to data that we can get access to. Some systems give programmers access to your seat of the applications you use by an "API". That opens many doors. But in some cases, we can automate some web based apps to simulate a human doing input from an automated script we give you control over.
Think spreadsheets. Do you have to manipulate a lot of spreadsheets all the time? That's a great place to start if it can save 10+ hours a month.
